Why Solihull businesses are ranked separately
is a ranking factor in local results. A business ranking well in Solihull town centre is not thereby ranking in Shirley, Knowle or Dorridge, because each of those searches is weighed from a different point.
How far a business is from the person searching. Google names it, as “distance”, as one of three things that decide local results, alongside relevance and prominence.
